Built to Solve a Real Problem
The Edge Club was born out of frustration. As hockey parents, we found ourselves spending hours every month chasing skate sharpenings: dropping off, picking up, waiting in line, and hoping the edges were right before the next game. It always seemed to happen at the last minute, and the results were inconsistent.
We realized that we weren’t the only family losing valuable time — time that could be spent at dinner together, watching practice, or simply catching a breath or hitting up a safety meeting. So we built The Edge Club to give that time back.
But The Edge Club is about more than saving time. Every sharpening is performed on our Elite ES-4, one of the most advanced automated skate sharpening systems available and trusted by NHL, PWHL, and Division I hockey programs. Unlike traditional hand sharpening, the ES-4 delivers the same precise hollow every single time, giving players consistent bite, glide, and edge feel with every sharpening. When athletes can trust their edges, they build confidence, develop muscle memory faster, and focus on improving their skating—not adjusting to inconsistent equipment. That’s why The Edge Club exists: to combine elite-level consistency with unmatched convenience, so families spend less time worrying about skate sharpening and more time enjoying the game.
Our Mission
To help every skater perform at their best through the consistency of elite-level skate sharpening—while making skate maintenance effortless for the families who support them.
We believe great skating starts with trusted edges. By delivering the same precise sharpening every time, combined with a membership experience that removes the hassle of traditional skate maintenance, we give players the confidence to focus on their game and families more time to enjoy the moments that matter.
