Welcome to The Edge Club. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of The Edge Club website, memberships, skate sharpening services, pickup and delivery services, drop-off locations, team services, and related products and services.

By purchasing a membership, submitting an order, using our services, or accessing our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. THE EDGE CLUB SERVICES

The Edge Club LLC (“The Edge Club,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides skate blade sharpening, skate maintenance-related services, membership programs, blade pickup and delivery, team-based services, and related products and services.

Service availability, turnaround times, pickup and delivery options, sharpening frequency, and other membership benefits may vary by membership level, location, team, and availability.

2. MEMBERSHIPS, SIX-MONTH COMMITMENT AND RECURRING BILLING

Certain The Edge Club services are offered through recurring membership plans.

All recurring memberships require a minimum six (6) month commitment unless otherwise expressly stated at the time of enrollment. By enrolling in a membership, you agree to maintain and pay for the membership for a minimum of six consecutive months.

Membership fees are billed monthly during the six-month commitment period. By purchasing a recurring membership, you authorize The Edge Club and its payment processor to automatically charge your selected payment method for the applicable membership fee at the frequency and amount disclosed when you enroll.

After the initial six-month commitment has been completed, the membership will continue on a recurring month-to-month basis at the applicable membership rate until canceled in accordance with these Terms.

Membership benefits are subject to the limits and services described for the membership selected at the time of purchase. Unused sharpenings or other membership benefits do not roll over to future billing periods unless specifically stated otherwise.

Memberships are intended for the member or player registered to the applicable membership and may not be shared or transferred unless authorized by The Edge Club.

Prices and membership benefits may change. The Edge Club will provide reasonable notice of material changes to an existing recurring membership.

3. CANCELLATIONS

Memberships may not be canceled during the initial six (6) month commitment period except as required by applicable law or as otherwise approved by The Edge Club.

After the six-month minimum commitment has been fulfilled, members may cancel their recurring membership in accordance with the cancellation instructions provided by The Edge Club.

Cancellation stops future recurring charges but does not ordinarily result in a refund of membership fees already charged. Members may continue to use eligible membership benefits through the end of their current paid billing period unless otherwise stated.

The Edge Club reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership for misuse, fraudulent activity, nonpayment, abuse of membership benefits, or violation of these Terms.

4. REFUNDS

Membership payments and completed skate sharpening services are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where The Edge Club determines that a refund or service credit is appropriate.

If you believe there has been a billing error or a problem with a service, please contact The Edge Club so we can review the issue.

Any separate Refund and Returns Policy published on our website is incorporated into these Terms.

5. SKATE SHARPENING SERVICES

Customers are responsible for selecting their desired sharpening specifications, including hollow, when applicable.

The Edge Club may provide recommendations based on information supplied by the customer, but individual preferences, skating conditions, player weight, skating style, blade condition, and other factors can affect how a sharpening feels.

A freshly sharpened blade may feel different from a previously sharpened blade, particularly when previous sharpenings were inconsistent or when the sharpening specification has changed.

Customers should inspect their blades and confirm they are comfortable with their equipment before participating in hockey, skating, or other on-ice activities.

6. BLADE CONDITION AND EQUIPMENT

Customers are responsible for providing blades in a condition reasonably suitable for sharpening.

Existing damage, excessive wear, rust, bent steel, damaged holders, improper mounting, previous sharpening errors, or other equipment conditions may affect our ability to perform the requested service.

The Edge Club may decline to sharpen blades that we determine cannot safely or reasonably be serviced.

We will take reasonable care while blades are in our possession. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Edge Club is not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, manufacturer defects, or problems unrelated to services performed by The Edge Club.

7. DROP-OFF, PICKUP AND DELIVERY

Certain memberships or services may include access to designated drop-off locations, secure pickup systems, team collection, or pickup and delivery services.

Customers are responsible for following the drop-off and pickup instructions provided by The Edge Club, including properly identifying and packaging blades when required.

Personal access codes or PINs provided for secure pickup or drop-off systems should not be shared with unauthorized individuals.

Estimated turnaround, pickup, and delivery times are not guarantees. Weather, facility access, equipment issues, team schedules, unusually high volume, or other circumstances may affect service timing.

8. TEAM MEMBERSHIPS AND TEAM SERVICES

Team-based sharpening programs may involve a coach, manager, parent volunteer, or other designated team representative coordinating blade collection and return.

The Edge Club is not responsible for delays, misplaced equipment, or other issues occurring before blades are transferred to The Edge Club or after blades are returned to the team’s designated representative.

Team schedules, collection procedures, service frequency, and other logistics may vary by program.

9. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Ice hockey and skating involve inherent risks.

Properly sharpened blades cannot eliminate the risks associated with skating or hockey. Customers and players remain responsible for determining whether their equipment is appropriate for use and for using equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and applicable safety practices.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Edge Club is not responsible for injuries resulting from skating, hockey participation, misuse of equipment, equipment failure unrelated to our services, or a player’s individual response or preference regarding a sharpening specification.

10. SMS/TEXT MESSAGE TERMS

Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

12. PAYMENT INFORMATION

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. The Edge Club does not necessarily directly store complete payment-card information.

Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate billing and contact information.

If a recurring payment cannot be processed, membership benefits may be suspended until payment information is updated and the account is brought current.

15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Edge Club will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of our website, memberships, products, or services.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit liability that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law.

16. PRIVACY

Your use of The Edge Club services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, protect, and disclose personal information.

Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

17. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

The Edge Club may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

Material changes affecting recurring memberships will be communicated as required by applicable law.
